Heart Research – Open Journal (HROJ) focuses solely on heart health and disorders.

The HROJ’s mission is to provide an open forum for healthcare professionals and researchers from the clinical, translational, and basic science communities to share and discuss all things heart-related.

Understanding how the heart works at every level (from molecules to cells to physiology) has already had a significant impact on how heart disease and failure are treated in the clinic, but its disorders continue to be one of the leading causes of death and illness worldwide. Understanding and raising awareness of the basic mechanisms of heart disease and repair, clinical implications, and disease management are at the heart of our journal, and we welcome contributions from a wide range of disciplines.
