Dr. Lee is Lecturer at the School of Public Health, UC Berkeley, where he teaches Global Public Health and the Epidemiology of eye disease.

Research Interest

His research interests focus on international work: sustainable measures for ophthalmic surgery, smart phone app development, and the epidemiology of 3rd world eye disease. He is the founder and CEO of the non-profit iCare which is active in international medical missions work. iCare has taught surgeons and helped to develop sustainable surgical interventions in Haiti, Macedonia, China, Myanmar, Bolivia, Morocco, Cambodia, Swaziland, Kenya, and many other countries.
