Research Interest

His research interest includes: Clinical studies in the field of cornea and ocular surface diseases, cataract and refractive surgery and ocular injury. Apart from the clinical research, he has deep interest in cellular and molecular biology research involving techniques such as tissue culture and proteomics. At the moment, studies on signaling pathways and genetic expression of DEFB109 and various bio-informatic, genetic engineering and proteomic researches especially in the development natural human defense molecule such as defensins as potential safe, effective and resistant free antibiotics, are taking place.
