Biography
Dr. László Czakó is currently a Clinical Professor for the 1st Department of Medicine, University of Szeged. He is board certified in internal medicine, gastroenterology and diabetology and holds a health economist degree. He is extensively trained in all aspects of gastroenterology in several leading endoscopic centers (Madrid, Amsterdam, Barcelona, Hamburg, Tokyo, Vienna). He received his PhD degree in 1999 and DSc degree in 2014. Dr. Czakó involves in lecturing on gastrointestinal diseases and training the fellows on various endoscopic procedures.
Research Interest
His clinical interests includes: Pancreatobiliary diseases (differential diagnosis, staging, treatment) including pancreatitis, pancreatic cancer, cholangiocarcinoma; advanced interventional endoscopy techniques including endoscopic ultrasonography, endoscopic retrograde cholangiopancreatography, endoscopic mucosal resection.
