His research interests include: Chronic kidney disease and therapeutic effect of natural medicines by Pharmacology, Biochemistry, Metabolomics and Lipidomics techniques. He is also studying the Oxidative stress, Inflammation and Pro-fibrotic pathways of chronic kidney disease and Tubulo-interstitial diseases, Molecular biology of kidney gene expression, Bioactive screening of diuretic components form natural medicines, Pharmacology and pharmacokinetics in chronic kidney disease and Metabolomics and lipidomics in chronic kidney disease
